Over the weekend we saw a call out for fixers at the Sustainability Hub Repair Cafe on social media. I jumped on the opportunity to help out. As we all have different abilities and one of mine is sewing. This Wednesday I(Paula) will be there helping with my skills in sewing. So grab what you need to have repaired and come out.
Also, Does your pooch have a fav coat, toy, bed that needs to be repaired? Bring them I have no issue repairing your pup's favorites.
At the Sustainability Hub, you can:
Have your clothes, simple electronics and furniture repaired
Dispose and make a reusable tote bag from old t-shirts (upcycling workshop)
Rent tools to fix your belongings at home
Exchange your non-LED light bulbs for LED ones
Have your bike tuned up and fixed by Cycle Kingston
Learn about credit unions
All free of charge. You must leave the Sustainability Hub with the belongings you take in. We will not store your belongings. For additional updates, follow @cesqueensu on Instagram.
The Sustainability Hub is from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm this Wednesday in Mitchell Hall (69 Union Street on Queen’s Campus
